Non rechargeable Alkaline batteries, when fresh, offer a higher voltage (1.5v per cell) than rechargeables (1.2v) and so may outperform their rechargeable equivalents in some applications. Voltage declines with use, however, and may be as low as 0.9v when the battery is exhausted.

Our alkaline batteries, particularly the GP Ultra series, will give an excellent performance if you do not wish to use rechargables.
