The OTT-LITE True Colour lighting system provides low-heat and high contrast illumination, using a long-life daylight simulation light source that reduces eye strain and enables modellers to practise their hobby with daytime lighting conditions, irrespective of the time of day.

This clip on lamp incorporates a spring clamp for fixing to tables, layouts or work benches. The flexible swan neck allows the lamp to be posed in a position to provide the best possible illumination for your work. Each bulb is designed to last 10,000 hours.

OTT-LITE was pioneered by photo biologist Dr John Ott, who perfected time-lapse photography whilst working for Walt Disney. To do this, he required a constant source of natural light. Dr Ott spent 40 years researching and studying natural lighting and from it, he developed the OTT-LITE range.
